Our work focuses on recognising the lack of facilities available to ethnic women in the area of Glodwick. Our aim is to empower and improve the quality of life for disadvantaged women, young people and children in Oldham. In turn, enabling them to reach their full potential in terms of education, economic and social contribution, health and wellbeing. Therefore, building their confidence, self-esteem, social and educational skills with a range of demand-led, quality and purposeful training programmes.
We plan on organising spoken English and pre-employability skills classes to enhance participants’ skills. This will be done in the hopes of enabling them to become more successful in the labour market and advance their career prospects.
